‘Blackwood to the Beach’ has at last arrived. The Showgrounds will come alive with more FREE entertainment than we have ever seen before at a Bridgetown Show. Since 1885, the strength and resilience of the Committee and the Community has ensured the continuation of Bridgetown’s oldest Family Community Event. Each year the chosen theme focuses on an interesting aspect of our community creating a fun and entertaining event to thrill all ages while encompassing the traditional aspects of life in the Country. The Theme will showcase highlights of our mighty Blackwood River as it travels past our doorstep to the Southern Ocean and the Beach, through entertainment, section classes, foods and information.

Join the fun with Batman; Fantasy Party Ponies; Critters Up Close; Laserscape; Fairy Garden; Bouncy Castles and Jamie the Clown.

New Highlights will include Albany Shantymen; Pirate clad Sambanistas; beautiful Mermaids from ‘Mermaid Cove’; Salty Sketches creating one of the oceans mighty giants, the whale; Apex Canines; Kite Kinetics; Interactive Train; Sand Castles here we come for a day at the beach and a Treasure Hunt for the Keys to Bridgetown’s Treasure Chest.

The Oval will be a focal point for the BIG RIGS - MacMahon Dump Truck Simulator, iNSTRUCTA, RAC Rescue Helicopter Experience and Cleanaway, along with our local Essential Services Volunteers.

Be entertained with local and visiting musicians; Take advantage of our reduced-price Sideshow Rides; Don’t forget our popular Passport from the Trailer Stop.

Mr Craig Dawson, General Manager - Operations, Talison Lithium Pty Ltd will open our 135th Show. Pay a visit to Talison’s large Show marquee with informative displays, interactive experiments and the very popular, ‘kids’ sandpit’ with the big mining toys.

Remember this is your show and your support by entering in the competitions, creates a hive of activity and a great atmosphere. There is a class for everyone.
